ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance of Vauxhall Keyholding)
ESG
We are following our strict and diverse policy to monitor our activity to reduce our impact on the environment and helping our clients to achieve their sustainability targets. As a service company we always choose such products which is environmentally friendly and we never use any aerosols, phosphates-based products or contain such chemical.
Through our responsible work practices and well managed security practices, we are developing sustainably safe place for our community, enhancing social security for all.
Constantly monitoring and improving the way we operate, our recruitment and selection are based on diversity, and we have ongoing training programme for newly employed colleagues to integrate within our company with their diverse values and faith.
To reduce the impact on the environment, we have stopped using fossil fuel run vehicle for our patrol duties and started using fully electric vehicle since 2022.
Our Net Zero Target
2040 Net Zero target

Our both service sectors (Security & Facilities Management) aim to become net zero by 2040. To achieve this goal, we have set out some steps and we are committed to work on every step to overcome the target.
Scope 1: To reduce fossil fuel-based energy usages to zero level on our assets.
Scope 2: To make sure our suppliers are taking their initiative to reduce their fossil fuel use to meet our targets.
Scope 3: We are encouraging our communities, stakeholders and employees to use environmentally friendly products and arranging plantation programme to build a strong community bond together to deliver our environmental targets.
As we have taken several key milestones to meet our environmental target on net zero, we believe that we will meet our net zero target before the expected 2040 targeted deadline.

To achieve our net zero targets, we have committed to focus on every sector we work for:
Reducing the usages of fossil fuels to 0% before 2040.
100% renewable energy usages must be encouraged and met by 2026.
Hydrogen fuel cell or electric run vehicle must be used for our service sectors by 2025.
In line with the Paris agreement goal and by the taken scientists opinions and findings Vauxhall Keyholding setting out our targets and regular board meetings are going ahead to examine whether we are meeting our target as planned.
Safeguarding our planets and habitats:
To protect our environment and natural resources, we are taking some steps which includes:
Stopping the usages of chemicals and cleaning agents which have adverse effect on the environment and destroy natural habitats.
We use natural products and some harmless products which are developed using bio-degradable raw materials and thoroughly examined by the expert.
We brought the usages of papers to 10% through our online programme, we don't print or use papers as we use computerised reporting system, and no papers are needed.
Improving the workplace by encouraging our colleagues and customer to move towards renewable energy.
Helping our customers to source and use bio-degradable products and save the planet.
Helping our stakeholders to achieve their sustainable goals, through a selective and responsible procurement policy.
Encouraging our suppliers to use natural packaging on the products they sell to us other than plastic packaging.
Regularly we are educating ourselves to look after our environment and keeping close contact with other government organisations, environmental agency and scientific findings,

Giving opportunity to the society as a whole by creating employment and encouraging young people to join the workforce by recruiting and training. Creating job opportunities for disadvantaged group of people and school leavers through community projects and apprenticeship where possible. Diverting young minds towards good work and giving chance to thrive. We have adopted and participating various training programme to help the society and creating skilled force. Our security department choose colleagues from various divers background and share our values between wider society which made us who we are today.
Our policy towards the society brought hundreds of disadvantaged people into work and we are always celebrating our diverse culture and knowledge.

At the very beginning we have created this place by opening a small security guard business to create employment for some university students in 2006. Since than we have helped hundreds of young minds to have some extra knowledge and financial support for themselves while still learning and continuing with their studies. W have grown a lot over those years but our policy towards helping young people to flourish their career remain same. Working for the people and society isn't just our targets but it's the heart of our company story. We have learnt a lot from employing and training people from the diverse group of the society, fostering young mind to choose right careers path and contributing towards economic growth of the country.

Our ultimate aim is to bring people into the classroom and help them to get trained while offering employment with us. As published and shared within our employees, our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Policy Statement, authored by Alan Thompson on 20 May 2025, we are committed to ensure the safety of our employees and stakeholders are never compromised. Welfare of our people are the top priority; our people are our important assets and their safety and security while working with us and beyond is always highlighted.
To achieve our QHSE goals, we have set out several targets and we are working on 2 steps core policy to achieve those targets.
Step 1: Physical safety and security must be provided by the employer by ensuring all the employees are trained and understand their role and how to act safely and responsibly without putting the environment at risks.
Step 2: Mental well-being of the employees, our transparency and cares policy welcoming our stakeholders to discuss any issues that they might think affecting them to carry out their duty freely without having stressed at any means.
We have resources and commitment, together we are balancing our employee relationship and the environment we work in.
QUALITY, HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Vauxhall Keyholding has 4 main goals in the area of Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment (QHSE):
1. To meet all legislative requirements (including the Health and Safety at work act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at work Regulations 1999 including the Environmental Protection act 1990) and implement best practice in the areas of Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
2. To ensure that all our services and business practices are conducted in a manner that is safe, secure and mindful of protecting the environment.
3. Ensure that adequate funds, materials and equipment are made available to meet the health and safety requirements of the Company.
4. To maintain an effective QHSE Management System that is compliant with the assessing and regulating bodies which we are registered to.
